Cawa-cawa falls is a three-level river. The water drops about 30 ft to a cauldron shaped basin, thus the name “Cawa” which is Spanish for a big cauldron. The stones and rocks around it are black and smooth. You will notice that the second-level was created because of the large rocks that blocked the river. On the third level is a shallow pool filled with different sizes of smooth river stones. What’s amazing is the ice cold water this has even on a hot summer day.
